FIFA 21 is not here yet but you can already start obtaining rewards to use when the game comes out in October. Here is how you can acquire a loan player. It’s as simple as it can be. All you have to do is to sign-up for the EA SPORTS FIFA newsletter. The reward is a FUT Icon loan player item card. You can choose between Zidane, Ronaldo, or Cantona. The loan item will be good for three matches in Ultimate Team.
The offer is valid for PC, Steam, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. As you can sign-up only once, you will get one item per EA account. You will get the Icon loan card after the game releases at the beginning of October. All you need to do is to log into Ultimate Team and you will get the item. Note that it can take up to 72 hours to get the card so don’t be alarmed if you don’t get it right away.
If the card doesn’t appear in your inventory after 72 hours, feel free to check the game’s forums, in case someone had the same issue and there’s a fix already available, or contact the support team. Moreover, the offer expires if the card is not claimed by March 31st, 2021. This is highly unlikely because players will jump into the game the second it becomes available. Therefore, don’t forget to claim it before it expires.
To sign-up for the newsletter, you must have an EA account. If you have multiple EA accounts, make sure to use the one on which you will be playing FIFA 21. The sign-up form is available on the official website. All you need to do is to input your email, date of birth, and country. Besides, don’t forget to tick the sign-up check box!
